Mission

Art Conservation Coral Coast provides museum-quality conservation services to Palm Beach County through the Miami metropolitan area. Individual consultations are offered to determine preservation strategies that address the unique needs of each client and artwork. Conservation treatments are carefully designed to safely preserve the original materials of the artwork and only reversible, conservation-grade media are used to complete any restoration. Here at ACCC, we use complete written and photo-documentation to record all treatment steps carried out with discreet care and in adherence to the American Institute of Conservation's Code of Ethics and Guidelines for Practice. 

What can I expect as a new client?

Working with Art Conservation Coral Coast begins with a thoughtful and collaborative process. Each artwork is first evaluated through an initial consultation, where conservation needs, history, and client goals are discussed. This is followed by a detailed examination to assess materials, condition, and any prior restoration.

Clients then receive a written treatment proposal outlining recommended options, timelines, and costs. Conservation work may range from minor stabilization to more extensive treatment, always guided by ethical standards and long-term preservation. No work is undertaken without full client approval.

Throughout treatment, the artwork is documented with professional photography. Upon completion, a detailed conservation report is provided, creating a permanent record of the work performed and the condition of the piece.

Experience

Morgan Hayes is the Founder and Conservator of Paintings at Art Conservation Northwest and Art Conservation Coral Coast. She holds a Master of Science degree from the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation, one of the leading conservation training programs in the United States. Her professional training includes work at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Portland Art Museum, the Indianapolis Museum of Art, Stichting Restauratie Atelier Limburg in the Netherlands, and the Balboa Art Conservation Center.

She is a peer-reviewed Professional Associate of the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works and a member of the Western Association for Art Conservation, the Southeast Regional Conservation Association, and the International Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works.
